Why is a webagency into IT hardware solutions?

In fact it sounds quite unusual that a creative agency focusing on software solutions and design is also into hardware solutions.

We noticed that during our interaction with vendors of our marketplace platform Shop24.lu there were quite often questions related to existing and new hardware: is my PC powerful enough, can I use my tablet, which local or cloud storage shall I use?

Do we have the expertise in computer hardware?

Sure, we have! It would be quite contraproductive to sell products where we have no clue about.

In fact we have been working with our own built PCs for over 20 years. Our hardware specialist, himself working for a well known company in Luxembourg, built one of the first PCs with integrated CD Burner in the late 90s.

Computer technology has evolved at great pace since then. Nowadays it is still possible to assemble your computer yourself but there are ready made solutions out there that fulfill the majority of the people’s needs.
